Terms of Use
Last updated: October 2026
These terms apply to accessing, reading and using content on the official Shadowrocket website and Shadowrocket Manual. Please review the following limitations before relying on the instructions.
1. Scope and purchase terms
This is the official Shadowrocket website and manual, with guidance on verifying the genuine app, purchasing and installing it, configuring it, and troubleshooting. Visiting this site does not constitute a purchase of the app or create a contract for any network service. These website terms are separate from the App Store’s purchase terms. Payments, refunds and purchase records are handled under the rules displayed by the App Store at the time.
Shadowrocket is a paid client for Apple platforms, primarily used on iPhone and iPad. The App Store is the only place to get it. Check the App Store listing for compatible devices, system requirements and whether Universal Purchase is available. Before buying, verify the developer, Shadow Launch Technology Limited, the official app icon and app ID 932747118.
A one-time client purchase is not a subscription plan. Buying the app grants rights to use the client only. This site does not provide, sell or recommend nodes or subscription services. Instructions assume that you already have your own subscription or server details.
2. Proper use and user responsibilities
You must comply with the laws and regulations that apply where you are located and to your activities, as well as the rules of any network and related services you use. Do not use Shadowrocket or this site’s instructions for unlawful activities, to violate others’ rights, access systems without authorization, disrupt network operations or distribute illegal content.
You are responsible for confirming that you have the right to use any servers, subscriptions or configuration content you import, and for managing the associated accounts, access credentials and connection permissions. Reading a configuration example does not grant permission to access any resources it refers to. Examples explain operations or syntax; they are not necessarily complete configurations suitable for your environment.
Before changing rules, DNS or automatic connection conditions, understand the potential impact on your current network and keep a backup where needed. Before importing a configuration provided by someone else, check its source and contents.
3. Information and limitations of liability
This site’s instructions are based on information that can be verified in the App Store listing and the app. Store region, device system, app interface and network conditions may vary. Follow the instructions shown on your device, and refer to the actual App Store listing for purchase information. Diagnostic steps in this manual do not guarantee a successful connection, continued availability or any particular outcome.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, this site is not liable for the availability of the app or external services, network interruptions, incompatible configurations, or data loss and other indirect losses resulting from user actions. Back up your settings before making changes. If a problem occurs, stop the relevant operation and check your previous configuration.
These terms do not exclude or limit liability where exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law, or affect consumer rights available under applicable law. App sales and rights related to purchases are governed by applicable law and App Store rules.
4. Intellectual property and use of content
The Shadowrocket trademark, app and related intellectual property belong to the developer or their respective rights holders. This site uses the official app icon, interface labels and app information to identify the product and explain its use. This does not transfer any rights in the trademark, app or other protected content to visitors.
You may read this site’s content for personal learning and reference. Reproduction, distribution or commercial use must comply with applicable law and requires any necessary permissions. When quoting content, credit the source and do not remove or alter key limitations or present excerpts as purchase commitments or service guarantees. Visiting this site does not grant a license beyond what is permitted by law.
5. Changes to these terms and finding help
These terms may be revised to reflect legal requirements, changes to the scope of the content or updates to site functionality. The complete revised text will be published on this page, and the “Last updated” month at the top will be changed. Any effective-date arrangements will be noted here. Review the terms in effect before continuing to use the content. Revisions do not affect rights that have already accrued under applicable law.
For questions about purchases, restoring purchases or App Store listing availability, see the Genuine App Guide. For import and connection issues, see the tutorial. When asking for help, share only the necessary steps and error details; do not disclose account credentials, full subscription URLs or other sensitive information.
